Deposit to your MavCard

Money placed in your account with the University creates a prepaid service declining
balance account. You may use your card as a declining balance card where accepted,
provided funds are available in youraccount. Funds deposited in your account are
non-transferable.

You can now make deposits online!

Students, faculty and staff can now make deposits, view transactions and manage account settings online. Cards must first be registered at MavCard Online. The registration process is quick and simple. Once registered, you may grant additional access to family and friends. Whoever has been granted accesss can now view your account and make deposits. Funds can be also be added to your account in person at the MavCard Services Office during
regular business hours (Monday – Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM, except holidays; business
hours are subject to change without notice).

Accepted forms of payment are cash, check, Master Card, Visa, Discover and American
Express. Cash only can be added to your account at a Card Value Center on campus.

There are 4 Card Value Centers on campus:

Milo Bail Student Center - 1st Floor South Entrance
Arts & Sciences Hall - 1st Floor vending area
Peter Kiewit Institute - 1st Floor (north vending area)
University Library - Main Floor

If you attempt to use your card when there are insufficient funds available, the transaction
will be denied. Deposits will be posted to the cardholder’s account for immediate use.
There is no earned interest associated with your account.

The cardholder is responsible for deposits made by credit card or check that do not clear
as well as purchases made against the deposit. Returned checks and rejected charge
card transactions will be immediately removed from your account. The cardholder will
be charged a$30 fee for each returned check, which may be assessed directly against
your declining balance account. The University reserves the right to place accounts on
hold in the event a deposit is returned or rejected.
